SALT BARRIERS

Salt Barrier is a geosynthetic composite capillary break layer consisting of geonet core bonded with filter fabric on both sides. It prevents the movement of saline water through capillary rise into the top vegetative soils, imported soils, road base & sub-base layers, and foundations. It also acts as a drainage layer to collect & discharge rainwater and surface spillage. Salt Barriers replace traditional capillary break layers made up of 300mm thick crushed stone layer making significant savings in construction cost and time.
